Our Youth Group, for young people aged 11 and over, meets once a month during the 10am Sunday morning service. We aim to learn more about Jesus and how he wants us to live and, of course, to have fun together.
Our meetings usually involve reading a short Bible passage, discussion, an activity or game and a prayer. Topics we have covered include hunger, baptism and what it means to be a saint.
We also engage in activities that help us interact with the broader congregation. For All Saints’ Day, we made a remembering tree to remember loved ones who have died; at the start of advent we baked cookies for the congregation. The Youth Group also participates in the Harvest Festival, Nativity play and All Age Services.
