The Anglican Church in Finland, together with the Dublin City Interfaith Forum, is organizing a webinar this coming Friday 1PM (Finnish time). Webinar is open for everyone interested to listen and learn about how faith communities, both in Ireland and Finland, have responded to the covid-19 pandemic.

Chairing the Webinar is Most Revd Dr Michael Jackson, Archbishop of Dublin and Bishop of Glendalough. He will also present an overview of the impact covid -19 had upon the Church of Ireland, both priests and parishioners and church related activities in the Dublin and Glendalough Diocese and highlight some innovative practices.

Panelists will contribute from their respective perspectives.

Eeva-Kaisa (Eevu) Heikura is working as a Communications Manager in Church Communications of The Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Finland where she is responsible for Media and Communications Services. She will focus on how the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland and its parishes are supporting and walking alongside people in the current exceptional situation.

Hilary Abrahamson, Chair of the Dublin City Interfaith Forum and a Member of Jewish Progressive Community, will present an overview of how faith communities responded.
Katri Kuusikallio is working as a the Executive Director of the National Forum for Cooperation of religions in Finland, and she will present the same overview from Finnish perspective.

Revd Alan Hilliard is priest of the Archdiocese of Dublin. He currently ministers to students in a third level setting in TU Dublin. He will focus on questions relating to ministry and prayer.

Chaplain Tuomas, Area Dean for Finland, will be focusing on what happened in the Anglican Church in Finland before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. His themes are pastoral and diaconal work and church’s relations with the Government during crisis.
