Request to participate in a research

Dear all,
I am forwarding you this request to participate in a research.

Are you aged 65 or over and living in Finland? Or do you have older family members living in another country? Please tell us about your life during the Coronavirus pandemic

The University of Helsinki is collecting stories from English-speakers living in Finland regarding how they have experienced their life during the Coronavirus pandemic. We are particularly interested to know more about the lives of people aged 65 and over, and the lives of people who have older family members living in another country, during the Coronavirus pandemic.

If you belong to one of the two groups below, please do consider taking part in our study by writing a story. It is up to you how short or long your story will be.

1) English-speakers living in Finland who are aged 65 years and over: https://elomake.helsinki.fi/lomakkeet/104948/lomake.html

2) English-speakers living in Finland who are under 65 years of age and who have a family member (e.g. parent, grandparent) aged 65 or over living in another country:https://elomake.helsinki.fi/lomakkeet/104949/lomake.html

You can take part in the study by clicking one of the links above.
Please send your reply's before the end of June.

The research is carried out at the University of Helsinki in the Centre of Excellence in Research on Ageing and Care, funded by the Academy of Finland. Participation in the study is voluntary and anonymous. The research publications that we will publish will include short quotations from some of the stories. We will carefully remove all the identifiable information from these quotes.

Please feel free to share this call.

Many thanks for your interest!
