Thank you to everyone who came for the Bazaar last Saturday. It was the strangest Bazaar I have attended but at the same time one of the most joyful. It was a delight to see so many of you ‘in real life’ and be able to exchange greetings and news.
|
Special thanks to all who made the Bazaar possible! The pandemic was. and continues to be, a concern to all of us. Your input made possible not only a joyous and good, but also a safe, bazaar.

This coming Wednesday, 15th December, at 19:00, we gather for our annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. Under the current COVID -rules a COVID pass is asked to be shown by all persons over 16 years of age at the entrance. Wearing face masks is strongly recommended by the health authorities. The collection is carried for the Bishop’s Advent Appeal and for the mission of the Anglican Church in Finland.
|
Please also remember that we have a nativity play at our All age service in Mikael Agricola Church on Sunday 19th December at 10:00. Those wishing to receive Holy Communion are asked to join the Communion Service (Book of Common Prayer) at 8:45.

He grew up strong in spirit,

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who ran a stall, baked, donated and volunteered last Saturday! It was a marathon day but our amazing team of volunteers worked beautifully together to get everything up and running and cleared away at the end. Despite the restrictions, the spirit of Christmas was alive and well!

PRAY WITH US
O Lord Jesus Christ, who at your first coming sent your messenger to prepare your way before you: grant that the ministers and stewards of your mysteries may likewise so prepare and make ready your way by turning the hearts of the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, that at your second coming to judge the world we may be found an acceptable people in your sight; for you are alive and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen
